At Autokool Ltd we pride ourselves on our fast delivery, making sure you get your orders as quickly and easily as possible. Below is some information on how we get your goods to you and how much it will cost, no matter where you live in the world*. 

Provide contact details to ensure delivery 

Please help us deliver your order as efficiently as possible by providing a telephone number (preferably a mobile number) when placing your order on our website. This way our parcel carriers can contact you, should they need to, on the day of your delivery. Also, the telephone number is a requirement for Customs and providing one will speed up clearance and delivery of your parcel - this is particularly important for our customers outside the United Kingdom. 

General Order Info 

Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to be shipped. On orders up to £100 we use Royal Mail and orders over £100 and of a heavier weight we use DPD who offer next working day delivery for most items.
For online orders placed before 12pm we aim to despatch the same

I've just placed an order but now I want to order something else. Can I have it sent out with my existing order?

We are unable to combine orders. Once an order has been placed, we cannot amend it.

Can I change the details of my order or add new items?

Unfortunately, we cannot amend any details of your order once they are placed. This includes adding or subtracting items. We suggest that if you have ordered something that you no longer want, wait for it to arrive and then send it back to us for a refund.  

We use a number of carriers including Royal Mail, and DPD to safely deliver your orders to your door. For orders placed for delivery in the UK including Northern Ireland, all our carriers typically deliver within 1-2 working days after despatch but we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery day.

 

Courier 

If your order is dispatched via courier you should receive a 'despatch email' confirming which Courier is delivering your order to you - this despatch email also provides you with a tracking number. 

We only use reputable Couriers for all our deliveries. We entrust them to deliver our products safety and quickly to our customers worldwide. Please get in touch if you experience any issues or delays. 

International Orders 

Postage costs are calculated automatically and displayed at the checkout stage when you select the destination country, and depend on the size and weight of the products being ordered. 

All items are despatched from our UK warehouse. 

Transit Times vary depending on the Country but are typically between 5 and 10 days. Your tracking number will clearly show you the progress of your order and your expected delivery date. 

For International orders, you may be subject to local duty / import taxes, if they apply. These are your responsibility and will be payable locally. 

The shipping company should advise you of any charges, or else you should consult your local customs office. Unfortunately, we cannot advise you what these charges may be, and cannot be held responsible for them. 

If these local import / customs charges are refused or not paid by the customer, then the item could be returned to us, or possibly destroyed. 

Please note: if this happens, we may not be able to refund you for your order, or any postage costs incurred by us. 

 

 

Returns

 

At Autokool Ltd we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our 7 day returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item.

By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products except for items specially ordered or manufactured at the purchasers request. Items not generally listed on the site and out sourced are also not eligible for return. Car parts such as radiators, condensers and receiver driers returned and found to be damaged due to incorrect fitting or damaged during the normal fitting process will not be eligble for refund.

To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please call our sales team who will issue you a returns reference number. You can then return the item in its original packaging with a copy of the relevant invoice and returns number clearly stating the reason for return.

Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.

Please note that we cannot accept returns if you fail to add a returns number previously obtained from Autokool Ltd. All return postage costs are down to you the customer.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. If items are sent to us without a signature or are received damaged we will not be able to continue with your refund. If the item is for a value exceeding £50 it is strongly recommended that additional postage insurance is obtained.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us. Items that have been damaged in shipping with clearly damaged outer packaging should be refused and returned back to us.

You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us. As soon as we receive your returned item, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item subject to an item inspection. We cannot refund any postage either priority, express or courier component of the postage charge. Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item

  • where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for the said item
  • where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund as applicable

We will not refund the cost of giftwrapping, your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
